About the Role
As a Senior IT Support Officer– Network, you are a high‐level technical expert responsible for providing hands‐on Level 2/3 IT support. Working alongside the Network Administrator, you will configure and manage the IT environment and infrastructure, monitor system performance, capacity, log files and provide monthly reporting of network error and issues.
Responsibilities
* Configure, monitor, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN connections.
* Take ownership of high‐severity IT issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
* Diagnose and resolve network outages, connectivity issues, and performance bottlenecks.
* Participate on all Severity 1 and 2 calls, perform RCA and problem management.
* Implement and maintain network security measures.
* Provide technical support for telephony and collaboration applications such as Vanran, RingCentral, and Microsoft Teams.
* Flexible approach to travel in order to support the region.
Personal Qualifications
* Industry certification (e.g., CCNA) (desirable).
* 1–2 years of experience in network support or IT network infrastructure roles.
* Experience in managing a diverse portfolio of projects.
* Knowledge of best practice relating to ICT delivery & management and experience in the deployment of an ITIL framework.
* Proven knowledge/experience of third‐party supplier/vendor management including contract negotiation and tendering processes.
* Proven knowledge/experience of risk and issues management.
* Experience with network security tools and best practices.
* Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs).
* Experience with SD‐WAN (Fortinet).
