Personal Care Assistant – Jemalong Residential Village, Forbes
Location: Jemalong Residential Village, 240 Edward Street, Forbes, New South Wales, Australia.
Hourly pay: $31.50 – $36.05 per hour + superannuation. Not‐for‐profit employer offers tax benefits.
As a Personal Care Assistant you will:
* Assist with personal care such as showering and dressing.
* Support day‐to‐day tasks such as eating and social activities.
* Work with clinical team members to ensure care plans are followed.
* Maintain documentation and collaborate with the team to optimise residents' health and wellbeing.
* Provide high‐quality service to families and the community.
To be successful in this role you'll need:
* A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high‐quality care to the elderly.
* Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people.
* A reliable team player.
* Understanding of workplace health and safety.
* A Certificate III in Aged Care (or equivalent).
* Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
Preference will be given to PCAs who have completed medication‐competency training as part of their Certificate III or Certificate IV studies.
