Job Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team in a Full-Time, Part-Time, or Casual capacity.
About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team on a Full-Time, Part-Time, or Casual basis. As a Registered Nurse with Apex Radiology, you will play a vital role in supporting patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients before, during, and after imaging procedures.
* Prepare patients for CT, MRI, and Ultrasound examinations (including IV cannulation).
* Assist in interventional procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and angiography.
* Monitor and support patients during recovery post-procedure.
* Maintain accurate documentation and handle specimen collection.
* Collaborate closely with Radiologists and Imaging Technicians.
* Promote a safe working environment by adhering to WHS policies and procedures.
* Contribute to smooth patient flow and appointment scheduling.
Requirements:
* Current APHRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
* Qualification in IV Cannulation (essential).
* Advanced Life Support certification (preferred).
* Previous experience in surgical or radiology nursing (advantageous).
* Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and time-management abilities.
* A collaborative mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
* High level of personal presentation and professionalism.
