Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Insurance Broker to join our team based in Horsham, Victoria. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex risks, navigating insurance markets, and driving business development initiatives. As a key member of our brokerage team, you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining client relationships, securing new business opportunities, and overseeing the placement and servicing of insurance policies.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with bespoke solutions and delivering outstanding service.
* Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, both within existing client relationships and through new market segments, expanding the client base.
* Develop and execute risk management strategies that align with client objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring long-term satisfaction and retention while identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
Requirements
* Experience as an Insurance Broker or in a similar role within the insurance industry.
* Demonstrated expertise in handling complex risks and navigating international insurance markets.
* A strong business development mindset with a track record of identifying and securing new business opportunities.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Relevant qualifications in insurance broking or risk management (minimum Tier 1)
* Well-developed critical thinking skills.
* Experience in using insurance services software and Microsoft suite of products.
