Locations: Rockhampton, Cairns, Gladstone, Mackay or Townsville.

Position level: Higher Education Worker Level 6.

Remuneration: $114,962 to $123,815 per annum (including salary $97,145 to $104,626 + 17% superannuation and leave loading).

Employment type: Full-time Continuous.

Job Summary

The Global Brand and Marketing Directorate of CQUniversity focuses on brand strength, reputation and student recruitment. In this dynamic role, you will develop donor-focused content that supports fundraising and alumni engagement initiatives. You will craft compelling communication across digital channels, collaborating with stakeholders to turn insights into engaging storytelling assets, including email campaigns, donor reports and multimedia stories.

Responsibilities
* Create and deliver persuasive copy and multimedia content that tells powerful stories to donors, alumni and supporters.
* Collaborate with passionate teams across the organisation to transform data insights into effective engagement strategies.
* Manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‐paced environment, ensuring a high level of quality and accuracy.
* Refine audience engagement and strengthen relationships with alumni and supporters through data‐driven improvement.
Qualifications
* A relevant degree with subsequent experience, or an equivalent combination of qualifications and demonstrated expertise in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism or multimedia design, with a strong focus on digital channels.
* Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, supported by strong interpersonal and customer service capability, and an ability to engage effectively with culturally diverse communities.
* Proven experience using enterprise systems such as email marketing platforms (e.g. Marketo or Vision6), Microsoft applications and CRM systems.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
* Demonstrated experience coordinating projects or tasks, working collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
* Strong capability in email marketing, persuasive storytelling and clear, engaging copywriting.
* Sound knowledge of data privacy obligations, ethical storytelling principles and communication compliance requirements.
