About Our Role Off the back of major project wins and a growing pipeline of work in our Resources and Energy teams, we are looking for a collaborative Senior Electrical Engineer to assist in the delivery of a broad range of projects and continue to mentor and develop others in our Perth team.
Accountabilities
LV and HV power systems analysis (loadflow, fault levels, protection)
LV and HV power systems design (SLDs, schematics, cable schedules, layouts)
Protection systems design
Earthing and lightning protection system design
Instrumentation and Control system design (I/O lists, Instrument lists and datasheets, specifications)
Control and communication hardware system design and selection (PLCs, fibre and copper comms networks)
Preparation and presentation of reports
About You
Demonstrated experience with overall HV and LV electrical engineering in heavy industrial and/or mining environments
Experience with specifying and selecting switchgear, power transformers and minor substation plant
Demonstrated experience with overall Instrumentation, control and communication engineering in heavy industrial and/or mining environments
Experience with specifying and selecting instruments and control system components e.g. PLCs, sensors, cabling, valves
Experience with specifying PLC programming requirements through functional descriptions and specifications
Experience with specifying and selecting communications hardware e.g. Fibre and copper cabling, switches
Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering and immediately eligible for Membership of Engineers Australia; Chartered Engineer and/or RPEQ
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both internally and externally
Strong client focus and the ability to work within or lead a project team
