About the role
We are currently seeking experienced Pathology Collectors in and around Shepparton Area. The role requires at least 1 year of experience in Pathology. Primary duties include taking blood and other specimens from patients, performing ECGs, using Holter monitors, and monitoring blood pressure.
Skills and Experience
* Venepuncture experience essential with vacutainer method
* Collection of blood and other samples from patients
* Experience in ECGs and Holter monitors
* Experience in Paediatric and Neonatal Collections
* Processing of Pathology Specimens
* Ability to work alone and participate in the weekend roster in any of our collection centres
* Clerical duties and process paperwork
* Own car and current driver's licence is preferred
* Ability to communicate with the team, referring doctors and patients
* Dedication to patient care and service delivery
* Organisational and problem-solving skills
* Prioritise work under pressure
* Basic computer skills
* Comply with Work Health and Safety
It is a requirement that a current Working With Children check clearance is provided upon commencement of employment.
