Outreach Program Coordinator | Government Contract | Cairns, QLD
An exciting opportunity is available for experienced and passionate clinicians to join a nationally recognised mental health and outreach service as an Outreach Program Coordinator (APS6).
This role is responsible for coordinating and managing an Outreach Provider Program, including external clinicians, group facilitators, clinical supervisors, and partnership referrals.
Working under the direction of senior leadership, you will support high-quality service delivery through provider engagement, clinical coordination, stakeholder management, and program support activities.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
* Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with outreach providers and stakeholders
* Coordinate provider communications and program activities
* Deliver onboarding, offboarding, training, and ongoing support to providers
* Monitor provider performance against quality and safety frameworks and KPIs
* Support providers with clinical liaison requirements and post-vention support
* Review partnership referral requests and provide recommendations
* Maintain provider databases and update internal teams regarding provider availability
* Coordinate treatment groups, psychoeducational workshops, and community programs
* Manage complaints relating to outreach providers and support resolution processes
* Act as the first escalation point for complex provider issues
* Participate in professional development, clinical supervision, and CPD activities
* Maintain a small negotiated clinical caseload
* Contribute to program evaluation, quality improvement, and research activities
* Support community engagement and service promotion initiatives

Mandatory Requirements
One of the following qualifications:
* Registered Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist, or Mental Health Registered Nurse with full AHPRA registration
* Qualified Social Worker eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and eligible to apply for Mental Health accreditation
* Qualified Counsellor with minimum Level 4 Australian Counselling Association registration
