The Opportunity
This is a key leadership role within UniSC's growing Insights and Analytics Unit, supporting the University's next phase of data capability uplift. Reporting to the Associate Director, Insights and Analysis, you will lead the delivery of enterprise-level performance analysis and planning across the institution.
Working closely with senior stakeholders across academic and corporate areas, you'll translate complex data into clear, practical insights that inform strategy, planning, and decision making. You will also play a central role in shaping how UniSC measures performance against its strategic priorities and responds to an evolving higher education landscape.

You will
* lead and develop a high-performing analytics team delivering insights that inform key University decisions;
* drive enterprise performance reporting, planning, and forecasting aligned to strategic priorities;
* partner with senior stakeholders to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights; and
* lead deep‐dive analysis on strategic issues, shaping institutional strategy and improvement initiatives
About you
You're a confident and capable leader who enjoys working at the intersection of data, strategy, and stakeholder engagement. You know how to turn analysis into action and bring others on the journey. You're comfortable navigating complexity, setting direction, and delivering outcomes in a fast‐paced environment.
You will possess:
* Extensive experience in performance analysis, planning, or analytics in a complex environment
* Proven ability to lead and develop high‐performing teams
* Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data clearly
* Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, including working with senior leaders
* Demonstrated ability to deliver projects end‐to‐end and manage competing priorities
* A strong understanding of, or ability to quickly grasp, the higher education environment
