Position Profile
The objective of the CNS position is to improve the quality and continuity of care and support provided to clients/patients across the continuum of care. Key responsibilities include:
* Act as a specialist resource person for staff and patients and their significant others within designated area
* Provides clinical nursing/midwifery knowledge and care within the AHC.
* Demonstrates leadership and role modelling.
* Promotes maintenance of clinical standard setting and monitoring, policy development and change management as required to improve the client/ patient's management.
This role assists in the delivery of safe patient centred care and the consumer's experience by ensuring services and practices align with the requirements of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and other recognised health standards.
This position is located at the Albany Health Campus.
