**What You'll Be Doing**

This is an exciting opportunity which will see you managing a territory within one of our successful product portfolios. Despite the current market conditions our Sales team is continuing to drive strong results and growth.

Within theatre, you will establish relationships with key target surgeons in a wide variety of speciality surgery to support the effective use of Baxter's products and drive growth. You will also work closely with nursing staff within the operating theatre to ensure up to date knowledge of products is available. Effective and accurate communication with customers is vital to the success in this role.
- Establish relationships and networks with all levels of clinical and management staff
- Identify incremental business opportunities and develop strategies to grow the portfolio
- Maintain profitability in consultation with sales and marketing
- Provide market information to maintain a sound understanding of the marketplace
- Facilitate product presentations to induce product usage in key specialties
- Identify customer needs to provide in-service product support of Baxter's products
- Maintain accurate documentation to enhance business relationships through effective account management
- Collaborate with Baxter Sales Management within the regions sales force and group Marketing Manager to achieve gross profit and revenue growth
- Liaise with Customer Service Team to ensure an efficient ordering process and enhance customer's satisfaction
- Prepare monthly reports, including market / competitive intelligence

**Do you have what it takes to build a career here?**

The ideal background will include experience in Neuro spine / Cardiothoracic / General Surgery in Medical devices sales or alternatively Pharmaceutical sales. You will have proven experience in the operating theatre environment and demonstrated success in driving sales within a highly competitive market. Previous clinical experience in addition to your sales success will be advantageous.
- Relevant tertiary qualification, preferably in the field of nursing, allied health, science or technology (eg. Health Science, Bioscience, Science or similar)
- Technical and / or clinical experience
- Territory Sales / Account Management experience in Medical devices sales
- Experience in a relevant therapeutic area - Intensive Care (technician, nurse, intensive care or similar)
- Well-developed presentation and communication skills
- Proven relationship building, negotiation and influencing skills
- Strong customer focus and a passion for delivering customer satisfaction
- Current drivers licence
- Intermediate Microsoft skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Ability to work autonomously with a drive and determination to succeed
