About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager – Queensland, the Financial Analyst will support the business by delivering high‑quality financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting to drive performance across the Queensland division.
You'll collaborate closely with project and operations teams to provide commercial insights, manage key metrics, and contribute to strategic decision‑making.
What You'll Do
* Analyse financial data and performance trends to support business planning and decision‑making
* Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets
* Prepare detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations for management
* Conduct variance and profitability analysis across projects and business units
* Identify cost‑saving opportunities and process improvements
* Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles
* Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and financial regulations
* Partner with operational teams to provide financial guidance and insights
What You'll Bring
You are analytical, curious, and confident working with numbers to tell a story. You balance precision with problem‑solving and thrive in a dynamic.
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (desirable)
* 2+ years' experience in financial analysis, reporting, or management accounting
* Strong Excel and data visualisation skills (Power BI or similar)
* Understanding of financial modelling and forecasting techniques
* Familiarity with ERP systems (Pronto or similar preferred)
* Excellent communication and presentation abilities
* High attention to detail and organisational skills
* Experience in construction, engineering, or related industries advantageous
