Job Description
We are seeking individuals with a professional background in Occupational Therapy or Rehabilitation Counselling who are interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector in Adelaide SA.
In this diverse role, you will enjoy flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day, supported by a close team of driven healthcare professionals and global corporate infrastructure.
Your duties will include:
* Case management (managing a manageable caseload with support from Rehabilitation Assistants for administrative tasks)
* Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes
* Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs
* Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals
* Working across various schemes such as workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs and employer‐funded injury prevention programs
* Assisting those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and work outcomes
* Completing a variety of assessments – initial, workplace and vocational – to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, address psychosocial barriers to employment and identify suitable employment opportunities for workers who have sustained workplace injuries or injuries from motor vehicle accidents

Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy or Rehabilitation Counselling
* Full Professional Registration with AHPRA or Full Professional Membership with ASORC, or eligibility to obtain upon graduation
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Empathy, compassion and kindness
* Patience and resilience
* A current SA Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance
