D&T; Hydraulics and Engineering Pty Ltd are a local family‐owned cylinder repair & manufacturing business. This dedicated workforce is supported by technical, sales and support staff guaranteeing projects and the workforce is managed in a professional manner without compromising quality, safety or the environment. We require a motivated & experienced Fitter to join the team in our expanding facility in Mackay, Queensland. We are highly reputable and boast a modern workshop with an excellent working environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Disassemble, inspect, report and reassemble hydraulic cylinders and components
* Prepare and operate machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
* Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
* Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function
Key Requirements
* Applicant must have at least 1 year of relevant employment experience
* Applicant will ideally hold relevant vocational or tertiary qualifications
* Be highly motivated
* Have a good work ethic
* Be reliable, punctual and hardworking
* Have a strong attention to detail
* Be able to work in a team setting
* Have a driver's licence and own transport
* Be committed to safety & quality policies and procedures
