Job Title: Mainteannce Officer
Location: Hunters Hill, Sydney
Hourly Rate: $40ph + Super
On-going until end of the year
We are currently seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Officer to support the day-to-day operations of a busy site. This role is ideal for someone with strong practical skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Responsibilities
* Carry out general maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and preventative maintenance
* Perform basic carpentry work (desirable, but not essential)
* Assist with site logistics, including moving furniture, equipment, and materials
* Support the overall upkeep and presentation of buildings and outdoor areas
* Identify maintenance issues and escalate where required
* Work collaboratively with the broader facilities and maintenance team
* Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety and compliance requirements
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a maintenance, handyman, or similar role
* Basic carpentry skills preferred but not mandatory
* Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required
* Positive attitude and willingness to assist across various tasks
Work Schedule
* Rotating shifts: 7:00am – 3:00pm and 10:00am – 6:00pm
* Flexibility to alternate shifts throughout the week is essential
Compliance
* A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to commencement
