Overview
Pharmacy VIC - Other Full Time Slade Pharmacy. Slade Pharmacy is expanding as the new pharmacy services provider to St John of God Private Hospital Geelong in July 2026. We are seeking passionate and driven Hospital Pharmacists to join our team in full-time and part-time capacities. These permanent positions offer the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care within a supportive and collaborative hospital environment.
In this role, you'll deliver high-quality clinical pharmacy services across inpatient and discharge settings, work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective, and personalised medication management, and contribute to improved health outcomes. You'll also support day-to-day pharmacy operations including dispensing, inventory coordination, and liaison with hospital staff to ensure seamless service delivery. The roles offer an opportunity to expand clinical skills in a dynamic setting.
Roster and Work Schedule
The operating hours of Slade Pharmacy at St John of God Private Hospital Geelong are:
* Monday to Friday 8:00am – 6:00pm
* Saturday 8:00am – 2:00pm
* Sunday 9:00am – 1:00pm
Start and finish times may vary slightly due to operational requirements. Our pharmacy operates seven days a week, and availability to participate in the weekend roster at least once or twice per month is preferred. Regular weekend shifts are also welcome.
Key Responsibilities
* Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products
* Coordinate patient medication requirements for inpatient stay and discharge
* Conduct medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation
* Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patients
* Support patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees
* Educate and advise staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection and the proper use of medicines
About You

Key Requirements
* Current AHPRA General Registration as a Pharmacist
* Experience in an Australian hospital or community pharmacy
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent time management and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
