Support Services Professional
This role is designed to provide flexible and responsive assistance to vulnerable families in the community. The job involves providing casework, counselling, case management, and support to families in their homes and other settings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct intake, assessment, and holding work as directed
* Deliver support and casework services to families and children using a variety of intervention skills
* Provide casework, counselling, case management, and support to families in their homes and other settings
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Hold an appropriate tertiary qualification in social work or welfare studies or equivalent
* Be in possession of a current Driver's Licence and Working with Children Check
* Have experience and skills in providing support and casework to families and children using a variety of intervention skills
* Demonstrate expertise in areas such as Mental Health, Alcohol and other Drugs, Disability, and/or Family Violence
* Display ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Be able to work flexibly within tight time schedules and in accordance with variable workload demands
