We are seeking a (Snr) Medical Science Liaison focused on our Haematology (classic and malignant) portfolio to engage with key opinion leaders in Victoria and Western Australia. VIC-based candidates are preferred.
Job Responsibilities
Act as a bridge between the medical/scientific community and Novartis, establishing and nurturing relationships with healthcare providers to ensure ethical dissemination of clinical and scientific information.
Develop strong relationships and engage in scientific dialogue with medical experts to provide access to the latest scientific data on Novartis products.
Create and implement plans to align development activities effectively.
Provide healthcare professionals with current scientific information and data on our products.
Support investigational sites and collaborate with the Translational Medical Office (TMO) and Medical Advisors for clinical program investigations.
Assist Medical Advisors in setting up and executing Novartis-sponsored local clinical studies.
Educate medical professionals, speakers, and investigators on emerging scientific data.
Prepare meeting materials, attend medical meetings, gather customer feedback, and evaluate competitive information impact for internal and external sharing.
Qualifications and Skills
A relevant qualification such as a PhD, PharmD, or medical degree is advantageous.
Ability to analyze recent scientific information within strategic and regulatory frameworks with integrity and customer focus.
Knowledge of clinical medicine, disease management, and medical research, with an understanding of the Australian Healthcare System.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, capable of contributing to multifunctional teams.
Experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with decision-makers as an MSL.
