The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Aged Care Manager to oversee the daily operations of their home care services across the Central Coast and Hunter regions.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, supervising and supporting staff, and delivering high-quality, client-centred care. The Manager will also play a pivotal role in shaping systems and processes during the organisation's expansion into aged care, while fostering a culture of collaboration, flexibility, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing daily operations of home care services.
* Conducting client assessments and developing care plans.
* Managing rosters, workforce planning, and staff supervision.
* Building positive relationships with clients, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
* Contributing to business development, including referral networks and service growth.
* Working closely with the senior leadership team on governance and service performance.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Social Work, or related field (preferred).
* Strong leadership and team management experience in aged care or community services.
* Proven experience in conducting client assessments and developing care plans.
* Understanding of Home Care Packages (HCP) and Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) desirable.
* Demonstrated knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and compliance requirements.
* Current driver's licence and ability to travel locally for client visits.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills.
* High level of professional integrity, empathy, and commitment to client-centred care.
* Business development experience or interest in growing services and referral partnerships will be highly regarded.
