TeamKids is the premium provider of Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) throughout Australia. We exist to excite, engage and entertain children before school, after school and throughout school holidays.
Job Description
This permanent, part‐time opportunity offers hands‐on experience in the OSHC industry. You'll be supported every step of the way by a Director of Service, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive in your role.
Service Location
Richmond West
You'll afternoons only Monday to Friday
After school care: 3pm-6pm
Total hours: 15
The Role - Ready to Grow Your Leadership?
As the Second in Charge (2IC), you'll be a key leader delivering high‐quality care and creating memorable experiences for the children in our service.
* Engage with the school community, attending events, assemblies.
* Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program.
* Foster genuine relationships with children and their families.
* Play and have fun with primary school aged children.
* Support ensuring the program is in compliance with industry regulations.
The Successful Candidate
* Ideally you have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education; training is available.
* Thrives in a fast‐paced environment and is a big kid at heart.
* Confident communicator with children, parents, team members, and school principals.
* Strong team player with excellent problem‐solving skills and a can‐do, positive attitude.
* Passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary‐aged children.
* Energetic, enthusiastic, and loves to have fun.
* Relevant Diploma qualification (equivalent or working towards it) as per ACECQA standards.
