About the Role
The Australian National University (ANU) is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join the Information Technology Services (ITS) Division as Manager, Digital Workspaces.
This pivotal role will drive the strategy, delivery, and ongoing enhancement of digital workspace solutions that enable seamless teaching, learning, research and administration across the University.
You will oversee the full lifecycle of collaboration platforms, endpoint management, virtual desktops and related services, ensuring they deliver secure, modern and user-friendly experiences for staff and students in on-site, remote and hybrid settings.
Working closely with the Information Security Office, you will ensure compliance with data protection standards while championing user-centric design and inclusive support models.
In addition, you will monitor emerging technologies, pilot innovative solutions, manage student computer suites and use data-driven insights to inform future planning.

Key Responsibilities
Drive strategy, delivery and ongoing enhancement of digital workspace solutions.
Oversee full lifecycle of collaboration platforms, endpoint management, virtual desktops and related services.
Ensure compliance with data protection standards in partnership with Information Security Office.
Monitor emerging technologies, pilot innovative solutions and manage student computer suites.
Use data-driven insights to inform future planning and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Degree in Information Technology or equivalent professional experience.
Strong record of delivering strategic digital transformation initiatives in complex environments.
Expertise in Microsoft Intune, Azure Active Directory, Power Apps, Power Automate.
Experience in IT procurement, software rationalisation and cost optimisation.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance frameworks.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with ability to build trusted relationships.
