About the role:
The Maintenance Lead will diagnose, inspect, service, and perform breakdown repairs and preventive maintenance of tractors and farm machinery as well as performing scheduled maintenance services, such as lubrications, engine tune‐ups and oil changes. This is a key support role to ensure machinery and equipment operate efficiently and safely to minimise downtime. You will also maintain equipment service history records and help keep the work environment tidy and well‐organised.
Key operational accountabilities include:
* Diagnose, inspect, service, and perform breakdown repairs and preventive maintenance of tractors and farm machinery.
* Perform scheduled maintenance services, such as lubrications, engine tune‐ups and oil changes.
* Ensure machinery and equipment operate efficiently and safely to minimise downtime.
* Maintain equipment service history records and assist in keeping a tidy, well‐organised work environment.
* Keep the workshop clean and tidy, ensure walkways are clear and participate in housekeeping programmes.
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
* Qualifications and/or employment background with demonstrated mechanical and ideally agricultural maintenance skills and knowledge.
* Previous experience in processing, welding and/or fabrication would be advantageous.
* Current Driver's License.
* Capability to work in a fast‐paced environment with a can‐do attitude.
* Team player who can work effectively with people from different backgrounds.
* Awareness of and ability to comply with WHS requirements.
* Flexibility in hours worked to achieve operational targets.
