About the OPPORTUNITY
Responsible for the provision of diagnostic Medical Imaging (Radiographic) services at Merredin District Hospital and X‐Ray operator support services at Merredin and surrounding smaller hospitals.
To be successful in this role, you will have...
* Tertiary qualifications in Medical Imaging and eligible for registration with Medical Radiation Technologists Board of WA and licensing with the Radiological Council and eligible for accreditation with the Australian Institute of Radiographer (AIR)
* Knowledge of appropriate inpatient and outpatient radiographic procedures
* Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
* Ability and willingness to participate in after‐hours availability service
* Knowledge of the Radiation Safety Act requirements
* Knowledge of the legislative obligations for Equal Opportunity, Disability Services and Occupational Safety and Health, and how these impact on employment and service delivery
* In possession of a current C or C‐A Class driver's license.
