Our Cardiology Department adopts a multidisciplinary model to provide integrated specialist care across the entire continuum. About the role
* Provide high‐quality interventional and general cardiology services across the CQHHS network.
* Lead clinical sessions in the coronary care unit, outpatient clinics and the new cardiac catheterisation laboratory.
* Contribute to the general and interventional cardiology on‐call and weekend rosters.
* Supervise and mentor registrars and junior medical staff to foster a high standard of clinical practice.
* Participate in clinical research and quality assurance programmes to improve service outcomes.
About you
* You hold a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and are eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
* You are a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or an equivalent specialist cardiologist.
* You have completed interventional cardiology subspecialty training aligned with CSANZ guidelines.
* You demonstrate clinical and academic research skills, with a focus on scientific analysis and peer review.
* You are an effective communicator who acts with integrity, compassion and resilience.
What we offer
Total remuneration value of up to $550,085 per annum (L27) comprises a salary range of $216,643–$251,642 per annum (L18–L24) or $259,072–$274,678 per annum (L25–L27), a 12.75% employer superannuation contribution and 17.5% leave loading.
