Overview
We're looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team at RCR Mining Technologies in Welshpool. You'll be working on BIG gear — machining heavy components used in mining and materials handling equipment.
What We're After
Trade qualified CNC Machinist with solid experience
Confident with G-Code programming
Strong with Fanuc controls
Experience with Heidenhain and/or Siemens a bonus
Able to read and work from engineering drawings and blueprints
Reliable, safety-focused, and takes pride in quality work
What You'll Do
* Programming and running CNC machines using G-Codes, Mastercam, and AutoCAD
* Checking parts to make sure they meet spec and quality standards
* Working on large-scale components across our modern workshop
* Machines include:
* Horizontal Lathe — up to 6 metres long
* Vertical Borer — 1 m diameter chuck
* Vertical Machining Centre — 0.8 m × 1.8 m table
* Large Floor Borer — jobs up to 88 tonnes
