About the Role
The Production Team Leader will provide operational leadership to a shift‐based team at the Hobart Zinc Smelter. The emphasis is on ensuring safety, production efficiency, and environmental compliance while aligning with the company's values. The rotating shift roster (2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off) highlights the need for flexibility to manage a round‐the‐clock industrial manufacturing operation.
Key Duties and Accountabilities
* Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high‐performing shift team to achieve safety, production, and environmental goals.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement strategies to optimize processes and outcomes.
* Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain relationships to meet internal and external business needs.
