This is a pivotal role for a senior leader passionate about health equity and community impact.Key responsibilities include:Leading strategic clinical governance and operations across Sunrise clinicsDeveloping and implementing performance improvement and risk mitigation frameworksCollaborating with executive peers to drive health strategy and reformSupporting Operations Managers, Health Centre Managers, and clinical staff in meeting KPIsManaging departmental budgets, workforce planning, and complianceChairing the Clinical Governance Committee and contributing to cross-functional forumsOverseeing recruitment, rostering, orientation, and professional development of clinical staffEngaging internal and external stakeholders to build innovative models of careWhat Your First Few Weeks Will Look LikeAt Sunrise, leadership begins with connection and understanding. The Leader We’re Looking ForYou’ll need a Nursing degree, current AHPRA registration, and tertiary qualifications in leadership or management, plus at least five years' experience managing remote Aboriginal Primary Health Care services.Highly regarded skills include:Strong understanding of Aboriginal Community Controlled Health modelsExperience managing clinical teams, budgets, and complianceOperational leadership across governance and HRExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsProficiency with Communicare or similar systems and MS OfficeAs our ideal candidate, first and foremost, you will have a highly positive attitude and outlook—this is essential to your success in the role and a core value for the organisation.
