Perm part-time: Minimum of 30 hours per week (Dependant on your availability & customer needs which may result in casual engagement or reduced contracted hours).

- Multiple locations available: North, South, East, and West Adelaide.
- Use your own car: Travel between clients’ homes using your vehicle (reimbursed at 99c/km).

We’re currently seeking caring and dedicated Care Workers to support older South Australians to live independently and comfortably in their own homes.

What you’ll do

As a Care Worker with AnglicareSA, you’ll play a vital part in helping older South Australians remain comfortable and independent at home. You’ll build warm, respectful relationships and deliver personalised support that honours each customer’s preferences, while living our values of Integrity, Compassion, Stewardship, Equity and Servant Leadership.

You’ll have the flexibility to work across multiple locations, travelling between homes using your own vehicle, and you’ll be backed by ongoing training, supportive leaders, and a team driven by care.

You’ll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:

- Providing personalised in-home care including personal care, meal prep, domestic tasks and transport.
- Following individual care plans and updating your team on wellbeing changes or concerns.
- Organising your workload to meet allocated visit times with professionalism and empathy.
- Building genuine, trusting relationships that support dignity, safety and independence.

To thrive in this role, you will have:

- Experience in aged care, home care or community support.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach and ability to work independently.
- Reliability, a positive mindset and commitment to secure work practices.
- Physical capacity to perform a variety of manual tasks independently required in the role.

What you’ll bring

Successful applicants will also have:

- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
- National Police check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current unrestricted driver’s licence.
- Your own registered comprehensively insured car.
- Current Flu Vaccination (or willingness to obtain)
- Right to Work in Australia.
