ABOUT THE ROLE
As a JJ's Yard Hand / Depot Labourer, you will perform general yard maintenance and cleanliness and carry out non-technical maintenance.
On a day-to-day basis, this role will require you to be responsible for a variety of depot tasks including bin repairs and maintenance, bin preparation, vehicle washing and detailing, heavy vehicle offsider and general labouring duties.
JJ's is an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.
This is a permanent, full-time position (Monday to Friday).
THE ROLE WILL INVOLVE
Perform general housekeeping duties maintaining a high standard of site compliance
Operate various fixed and mobile plant equipment
Maintain routine work records and inventories
Carry out non-technical maintenance tasks internally and externally as required
Manual handling around the yard and facilities
ABOUT YOU
HR licence – Essential
Current forklift licence – Ideal
Able to demonstrate self-management and good communication skills
General mechanical and repair skills advantageous
General knowledge of WH&S hazards and safety procedures
Be dedicated to achieving high standards of safety compliance
Be subject to a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing
Able to provide your traffic history at interview stage
