About the opportunity: Assistant in Nursing (AIN) or Care Service Worker prospect, working in Transitional Aged Care Team, and casually assisting teams across Mercy Care Centre hospital, Young, NSW. Provide personal care, health monitoring, domestic assistance, transport and reablement care to community rehabilitation clients. Work as part of a dedicated, caring and positive team that offers training and professional support.
- Provide care and supports to Transitional Aged Care Program clients in their own home and in the community.
- Assist clients with personal care, health monitoring, socialisation, transport, shopping and domestic duties.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team striving to provide excellent patient‑centred care and rehabilitation services.
- Provide casual cover to areas of the Mercy Care Centre hospital including inpatient hospital services in Young, NSW.
- Professional development supported and supervision provided.

- Positive, caring, respectful and organised person.
- Completion of Cert 3 Health Services Assistant OR minimum Cert 3 aged care/individual support or disability support, and willing to work towards Cert 3 Health Services Assistant (AIN qualification).
- Experience working in the community setting or a healthcare setting is desirable.
- Ability to learn multiple computer programs and complete administrative tasks.
- Current unrestricted driver’s licence.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- A current National Police Record Check and NSW Working with Children Check.
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
