The Opportunity
You'll play a key role in the smooth running of the practice—supporting lawyers with high‐quality administrative and file management support. Accuracy, discretion and a client‐first mindset are essential as you'll liaise with clients, barristers, and courts, and help keep matters moving efficiently.
Responsibilities
* File opening and management
* Assisting with debtor management
* Credit card reconciliation
* Managing end‐of‐month billing
* Payment of invoices and financial auditing reports
* Drafting cost agreements and preparing and issuing tax invoices to clients
* Scheduling meetings and organising calendars
* File management, saving emails and correspondence to files
* Answering and making phone calls
* Liaising with stakeholders, including clients, lawyers, barristers and principals
* Other general administrative tasks as required
What You'll Bring
* Experience as a Legal Secretary (family law experience highly regarded) or administration experience within professional services
* Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy and consistency
* Strong time management with the ability to handle competing priorities
* Clear written and verbal communication and a professional, warm manner with clients
* A proactive mindset—comfortable taking initiative and working both independently and as part of a team
* Familiarity with legal practice systems
