You're looking for a job that gives you steady hours, a down‐to‐earth team and a mix of hands‐on work and time on the road without sacrificing your evenings and weekends. This Yardperson/Driver role offers exactly that: routine you can rely on, variety that keeps the day moving, and a crew that values effort over ego.
What's in it for you
* Predictable days: Monday–Friday only, on either a 7:00am–3:00pm or 8:00am–4:00pm shift, so you know exactly when you're clocking off.
* Your life back: No nights, no weekends, and you're home in your own bed every night.
* Real variety: A good mix of yard work, warehouse tasks and local deliveries, you're not stuck doing just one thing all day.
* A solid crew: Small, tight‐knit team where people notice when you put in and have each other's backs.
* Supportive environment: A manager who trusts you to get on with it and backs you when things get busy.
* Job satisfaction: You can see the results of your work - a tidy yard, happy customers, and orders done right.
What the job actually looks like
Your day starts in the yard, helping keep things clean, safe and organised. You'll be loading and unloading trucks, picking and packing orders so they're spot on, and then jumping in an automatic HR (8‐tonne) truck to complete local deliveries.
Back at the warehouse, there's a bit of basic computer work to process orders and handle stock, plus mucking in wherever the team needs an extra pair of hands.
The pace is steady, the work is physical without being over the top, and the day goes quickly.
What you're likely to already have
* HR (Heavy Rigid) Licence, so you can hop straight in the truck
* Forklift Licence so you can safely move gear around the yard
* Full, unrestricted Australian working rights
* A strong work ethic, pride in doing a neat job, and a positive attitude
* The ability to work well on your own, and even better as part of a team
We're far more interested in your reliability, attitude and how you show up each day than a long list of previous job titles.
