We're looking for a results‐driven individual who is passionate, positive, and dedicated with extensive expertise. The Manager is a key member of the regional leadership team, supporting the Regional Director to achieve efficient and effective service delivery by driving accountability and performance across the region, with a collaboration and growth mindset. By fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, translating policy direction into operational activities and supporting your team's growth and development, you will ensure the successful delivery of the Regional Programs.

As the Manager, you will

* Lead and manage the delivery of DTET regional programs, services and regional team members, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
* Provide expert advice, strategic analysis and support to the Regional Director to ensure the delivery of high‐quality services and programs that support training and skilling initiatives in the region, while recommending solutions to address identified issues at both strategic and operational levels.
* Manage high‐level networks with external organisations, government departments, industry and employers, to stay informed of trends and foster strategic partnerships relevant to vocational education and training (VET) issues.
* Engage and promote the department's services with stakeholders, including industry, employers, training organisations and community organisations, to understand their training and employment needs and translate these into effective solutions and service system responses.

Qualifications

* Ensure the objectives and key performance indicators of regional programs and initiatives are achieved including preparing and presenting comprehensive performance reports that support the region's operational plan and performance delivery targets.
* Represent the region in negotiations and discussions with internal and external stakeholders and produce quality, timely reports and briefing notes on program and service delivery issues.
* Foster a positive and collaborative team environment by building capacity and supporting professional growth.
* Identify and develop innovative ideas and opportunities, collaborating with stakeholders to design and implement place‐based solutions that address regional needs.
* Provide strategic advice, support and information to the Regional Director to ensure the effective delivery of regional services and programs, with a focus on training and skilling initiatives.
