We're seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our Darwin-based team on a permanent basis, responsible for maintaining and monitoring core business infrastructure and systems.
This role involves delivering technology solutions, responding to Severity 2 and 3 incidents, and supporting both service and project requests.
Responsibilities
* Implement and support infrastructure technologies across a range of business systems.
* Respond to and resolve Severity 2 and 3 incidents in a timely manner.
* Manage service and project requests with a customer-focused approach.
* Contribute to infrastructure design, implementation, and ongoing support.
* Able to participate in after-hours work, on-call roster, and project activities as required.
Skills & Experience
We're looking for candidates with demonstrated experience across the following:
* Experience across both Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems.
* Experience with Group Policy including Windows Desktop lockdowns, drive mappings and preference items.
* Good working knowledge of Active Directory and Exchange.
* Sound knowledge of NTFS security in an enterprise environment.
* Ability to apply ITIL concepts within the workplace.
* Understanding of Microsoft Cloud services and knowledge across Entra, Intune, Exchange Online.
* Ability to work in a hybrid environment, solid troubleshooting knowledge for both On-Prem and Microsoft Cloud infrastructure.
* Linux skillset would be advantageous.
* Attention to detail and customer focused.
