About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Business Analyst is a new role playing a key role in supporting financial and operational initiatives across the business through financial analysis and reporting, business process improvement, and stakeholder collaboration.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing commercial analysis with practical business improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing reporting and analysis on revenue pipelines and awards
* Understanding costing models and pricing methodologies
* Financial analysis of business performance and cost drivers
* Assistance with supplier negotiations and improvements
* Supporting implementation and enhancement of business and clinical systems
* Collaborating with stakeholders across Finance, Business Development, Clinical Operations, IT, Quality and Leadership teams
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a commercially aware and detail-oriented professional with strong analytical capability and the ability to engage effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
You will ideally bring:
* Qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Analytics or a related discipline
* Experience in a Business Analyst, Commercial Analyst, Financial Analyst or similar role with strong attention to detail
* Experience analysing costing models, business performance, revenue pipelines and operational data
* Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong problem-solving and stakeholder engagement capabilities
* The ability to manage competing priorities and work across multiple projects
* Experience within healthcare, clinical research or regulated environments will be highly regarded but not essential
