Position Overview
R Marine Jones is now looking for a Service Administrator to join our team in the bustling Coomera Marine precinct. R Marine Jones is a family owned business located down by the water at The Boat Works. With the key responsibilities being the quotation, bookings, internal processes and preparation of invoices for our exclusive Riviera Motor Yacht Owners, strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential for this role. Prior accounting or marine industry knowledge will be recognised. This role could suit a marine technician or stewardess looking to get off the tools and can also be up scaled to suit experience of applicant.
What You'll Be Doing
* Assisting the Service Manager with daily operations of service department.
* Communicating with external contractors and suppliers.
* Consistent follow up contractors and suppliers.
* Scheduling and booking vessels for servicing or project work.
* Communicating daily with our Accounts Manager.
* Managing Labour entries from Technicians.
* Preparing and finalising Service/Warranty job cards for invoicing.
* Assisting with Quality Control Processes onboard new vessels.
* Assisting with process improvement and implementation.
Who We Are Looking For
* Confident managing multiple tasks.
* Comfortable working within a diverse administration role.
* Able to take initiative and achieve tasks independently,
* Strong computer skills and knowledge in administration systems are essential. Experience with CRM/ Accounting Software is preferred
* Proficient experience with Office 365 Platform.
* Previous proficient experience in business administration, service administration role, Human Resources, Data Entry etc.
* Accounting knowledge is regarded.
Full time role or option for a 30.5 hr week
Typical hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm. Hours can be flexible
Start date: June 22nd 2026 (flexible)
