We are seeking a full-time Seafood Production Worker to join our team at our state-of-the-art facility in Mount Barker, South Australia. As a Seafood Production Worker, you will play a vital role in maintaining our high standards of quality and efficiency in our seafood processing operations.

What You'll Be Doing
* Working efficiently on a production line, ensuring smooth flow of products through each stage of processing and packing.
* Carefully handling and processing fresh seafood products according to established procedures and quality standards.
* Operating production equipment and machinery to portion, package, and prepare seafood items for distribution.
* Adhering to all food safety, hygiene, and biosecurity protocols to ensure product integrity and customer satisfaction.
* Collaborating with the wider production team to meet daily and weekly production targets, while also demonstrating the ability to work independently to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
* Conducting cleaning tasks to maintain an organised and hygienic work environment.
* Adhering to safety policies, practices, and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
* Manual handling and heavy lifting required.
* Available to work extra hours as and when required (Christmas and Easter).

What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment, preferably within the seafood industry.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow standard operating procedures.
* Excellent hand-eye coordination, dexterity for manual tasks, and stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions.
* A commitment to upholding food safety and hygiene standards.
* Demonstrates the ability to work effectively both collaboratively and independently.
* Good communication skills, willingness to learn, and follow instructions.
* Committed to being punctual, hardworking, and reliable.
* Ability to work in a cold and wet environment.
* Flexibility to work across connected departments.
* Experience working with knives desirable.
