About the role:
Learning Enhancement Assistant is a part of the Learning Enhancement team under the direction of the Head of Learning Enhancement. They are responsible for assisting students with additional needs by supporting and extending their learning in the classroom, under the guidance and cooperation of the classroom teacher. The Assistant also contributes to helping students develop strategies and skills necessary to foster learning, independence and confidence, facilitating ongoing progress and attainment of optimal educational outcomes. They work proactively and collaboratively as a member of the General Staff to support and enrich collective responsibilities.
Position is full‐time (1.0 FTE), ongoing, based at Donnybrook campus, starting Monday, 13 July 2026. The role offers 6 weeks of paid annual leave and 7 weeks' leave without pay.
Working in close partnership with other Learning Enhancement Assistants and class teachers, reporting to the Director of Teaching and Learning through the Head of Learning Enhancement.
Summary of Role Requirements
* Knowledge of, and experience with approaches to supporting children with additional needs.
* Experience in a similar role in an educational setting.
* Support for the educational culture and Christian/Anglican ethos of the School.
* A current Working With Children Check.
