Job Description
We are looking for a Client Growth and Account Manager to help grow the business by identifying and winning new clients, while also supporting and strengthening relationships with existing clients.
Candidates must have a minimum of 5+ years of business development experience.
This role suits someone who is commercially minded, confident building relationships, and able to move comfortably between business development, account management, and day-to-day client coordination.
Key Accountabilities
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
* Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients.
* Conduct outreach, qualify opportunities, and arrange meetings.
* Prepare proposals, presentations, and other sales support material.
* Assist with tender, bid, and proposal responses where required.
* Build strong working relationships with existing clients.
* Act as a reliable point of contact for client communication and follow-up.
* Help coordinate account activity and ensure client needs are understood internally.
* Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts.
* Support client retention through responsive and professional relationship management.
* Maintain accurate records of sales activity, client interactions, and opportunities.
* Work closely with internal teams to support smooth delivery and a high standard of client service.
About You
* Experience in business development, account management, client services, or a similar commercial role.
* Confidence engaging with decision-makers and building relationships.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* An organized and proactive approach to follow-up and pipeline management.
* The ability to identify commercial opportunities and turn them into action.
* Good judgement, professionalism, and attention to detail.
* Experience using CRM systems and standard business tools.
* Prior experience in IT services industry.
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency status.
* Experience in B2B services.
* Experience preparing proposals or responding to tenders.
* Experience working with technical or professional service teams.
