About the Role
You'll work within a skilled and experienced team, operating 400 Tonne+ excavators and other mining equipment to safely meet production targets across our Surface operation at Tropicana.
Responsibilities
* Safe, efficient operation of large excavator equipment
* Complete pre-starts and report hazards or defects immediately
* Follow plans, instructions and traffic management rules
* Maintain a tidy work area and support safe interactions with all teams
* Contribute to our people-first culture and live our Winning Values
* Help teammates, share knowledge and support a strong crew culture
What You'll Bring
* Experience operating the following excavators in a mining environment:
o CAT 6060 | CAT 6040
o Hitachi 5600
