Clinical Educator Perioperative Services
Permanent Part-time (32 hours per fortnight)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Learning and Development Unit at West Gippsland Healthcare Group in the role of Clinical Nurse Educator in Theatre. This is a Permanent part-time position.
Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, you will work within a motivated and dedicated team that provides support to the organisation over a wide range of education and development services, including but not limited to in-service education, development and delivery of training programs, competency assessments, supervision of student placements and staff development education.

This stimulating role would suit an experienced nurse who has clinical expertise in the area of Perioperative services and is flexible, solutions-focused, committed to quality, willing to accept a challenge and enjoys working within a team that is dedicated to providing great service to their client group.
Required Qualifications
* Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia
* Extensive post-registration clinical experience in the area of Theatre, no less than 5 years post-registration
* Postgraduate qualifications in Perioperative Services
* Current accredited Advanced Life Support certification
* Demonstrated experience in clinical education, training/development and preceptoring
* Evidence of ongoing professional development in education/clinical education
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or relevant tertiary qualification in education
Preferred Qualifications
* Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel
