Aerial Access is seeking a qualified Auto Electrician with strong mechanical capability (or dual-trade) to join our team in Edwardstown.
If you're confident with diagnostics, automotive electrical systems and hands‐on problem solving, this is your chance to step into a varied role working across specialised equipment, with the added opportunity to mentor dual-trade apprentices.
The work:
This is not your standard workshop role. You'll work across a mix of fleet maintenance, breakdowns and field service, with the autonomy to manage jobs from start to finish.
Your day‐to‐day will include:
* Diagnostic electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault finding
* Diagnosing and repairing trucks, light vehicles, EWPs, chippers and specialised equipment
* Completing preventative and breakdown maintenance across our varied fleet, both in the workshop and field
* Assisting with general workshop tasks and cleanliness
* Ensuring compliance with NHVR, defect management and service schedules
* Supporting and guiding apprentices, particularly in auto electrical fault finding/diagnostics
* $45–$55 per hour (based on experience)
* Additional financial allowances for various tickets and experiences

What you will need:
* Strong mechanical capability or mechanical qualification
* Proven diagnostic skills across electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems
* Experience working on heavy vehicles, plant or similar equipment
* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
* MR licence (or willingness to obtain within 3 months)
* Strong safety focus and attention to detail
Desirable, but not essential:
* Dual trade (Auto Electrical / Heavy Diesel or Light Vehicle)
* Experience with EWPs, chippers or vegetation equipment
* Air‐conditioning systems experience
* Hydraulic system knowledge or fault finding
* Previous field service experience
