The City of Mandurah seeks an experienced professional to provide specialist advice on industrial relations matters in the workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
* Research and provide complex legal advice to senior managers on employment and industrial matters
* Monitor organisational change processes and conduct investigations for disciplinary and/or complaints
* Negotiate and consult with unions and external bodies
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Laws degree (mandatory) and practising certificate or willingness to obtain
* 7 years' experience in HR/IR, preferably in Local Government and/or unionised environment
* Ability to investigate employee matters and knowledge of general employment law and HR best practice
