Employee Health and Safety Support Role:
This role focuses on enhancing the health, safety, and wellbeing of employees across the organization. The primary responsibility involves coordinating WorkCover claims beyond 130 weeks, ensuring timely and effective management.
The successful candidate will contribute to delivering employee wellbeing initiatives, maintain health and safety representation structures, and support risk management activities such as audits, inspections, and investigations.
* Effective coordination of active WorkCover claims post 130 weeks, involving proactive engagement with the organization's WorkCover Agent to assess and coordinate ongoing entitlements like weekly payments, medical expenses, and occupational rehabilitation.
* Assist in promoting and delivering employee wellbeing and support programs to ensure employees have access to necessary resources at the right time.
* Maintain and monitor health and safety representation structures and roles (DWGs, DMRs, HSRs, first aid officers, and wardens).
* Support data entry and database management by accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining records in organizational systems, verifying information, identifying discrepancies, and supporting reporting and analysis activities as required.
* Contribute to health and safety risk assessments, audits, inspections, and investigations to monitor the effectiveness of systems in protecting employee health and safety.
