Job Description
As a Junior Hydrogeologist, you will be part of a team providing consultancy advice and support on strategic and site-specific issues. You will assist with data collection, baseline studies, and data analysis, working closely with senior staff to deliver excellent results.
The role involves integrated monitoring programs, field studies, data assessment, and reporting. You will undertake integrated monitoring programs for groundwater, surface water, soils, and air quality sampling, perform field studies including hydrogeological site investigations, drilling programs, and hydraulic testing.
Additionally, you will assess data trends to provide assessments of data integrity and mechanisms related to water movement, maintain and utilise automated telemetry data capture tools, and prepare reports based on field and laboratory data collected.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor Degree or higher in Science or Engineering, specializing in Hydrogeology or a related field is required.
* Practical experience in water management, groundwater monitoring, and sampling data analysis is essential.
* Theoretical knowledge of QLD groundwater legislation and policies is desirable.
