About the Role

As Sales Support Executive, you will be based in our Melbourne Head Office, reporting directly to the Sales Operations & Project Manager. You will be responsible for providing internal and external customer service, administration, reporting and project support to the Sales Team to facilitate the development of key customer relationships.

Responsibilities
* Develop relationships as the first point of telephone or email contact for valued corporate and travel industry clients
* Provide consistently high levels of customer service to internal and external clients and investigate root cause and resolve any issues
* Data entry to assist with preparation of tender applications, contracts and sales proposals
* Maintain accurate and up to date database records for key contacts and clients
* Collating and reporting on sales statistics
* Raise Budget Requests, Purchase Orders and manage general administration duties for the team
* Where required, involvement in delivering Sales efficiency projects via building of sales reporting, implementation of Robotics Process Automation (RPA) tasks, and development/progression of systems‐based project work for the Sales team
About You – Essential Skills

You will have the following skills and abilities to be successful in this role, as essential requirements:

* Optimistic and enthusiastic disposition, with a keenness to assist others, show initiative and share your ideas for continuous improvement
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and active‐listening skills
* Strong organisational and administration skills
* Ability to work independently, or as a team with combined workflows
* Ability to work under pressure and juggle competing priorities
* Proficient use of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is essential
Additional (Optional) Skills
* Familiarity with Salesforce
* Previous experience in a similar role supporting a team, or customer service/administrative experience in the travel industry or any industry involving a very detailed or complex product/service
* Interest to learn or understanding of Advanced Excel, programming (e.g. Python, SQL) and automation
