The Role
Reporting to the Head of Category – AU & NZ, the Senior Category Development Manager will play a key role in shaping and executing category strategies that drive growth for Sanitarium and our retail partners. You’ll lead with insight, innovation, and collaboration across internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Champion global best practices in category vision, category strategy development, range and layout management.
Build and maintain robust relationships with key trade partners to co-create strategies that deliver mutual growth.
Collaborate closely with the Senior Insights Manager to translate consumer and shopper data into actionable insights.
Align category thinking across Sales and Marketing to enhance integrated business planning and execution.
Contribute to annual business planning, brand strategy, and key commercial initiatives.
Provide strategic direction across all point-of-purchase elements including pricing, promotion, distribution, and layout.
What you’ll bring
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant business field.
10+ years’ experience in category development, Sales, Marketing or related roles.
Solid people leadership, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
A passion for delivering results and driving customer satisfaction.
