A little about the role
We are seeking a Support Worker to join a casual pool primarily working after school hours (3-6 pm) and on weekends. Responsibilities include:
* School pickups and transportation of children and young people to appointments.
* Participation in community events, sports, and outdoor recreation activities.
* Providing therapeutic supports and implementing therapy goals.
* Managing and de‐escalating critical incidents with a trauma‐informed approach.
Positions offer SCHADS Level 3 rates and a range of allowances.
About you
* Experience working with vulnerable children and young people aged 0-18 years.
* Understanding of trauma‐informed therapeutic care and ability to manage complex behaviours.
* Availability primarily after school hours (3-6 pm) and weekends.
* Valid WWCC, First Aid/CPR, NDIS Worker Screening Check (if required), and a valid driver's licence with comprehensive insurance.
