We have an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Workers' Compensation professional to join our Insurance team in Darwin. As a Senior Associate or Special Counsel, you will play a key role in our rapidly growing practice, working closely with our clients and partners.
About the Role and Team
Our Insurance team is a defendant insurance legal team, operating across Statutory Insurance matters, including workers' compensation, recoveries, and compulsory third-party matters. With approximately 90 people located across Darwin, Perth, and Adelaide, we offer a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
This hands-on role provides significant learning, development, and progression opportunities, allowing you to grow professionally and contribute to the success of our practice. You will be working alongside highly regarded partners and lawyers who share your passion for delivering exceptional results.
About You
* At least 5 years of post-admission experience within Workers' Compensation is essential.
* Ideal candidates will have experience on the defendant side, but we also consider candidates with a plaintiff background who are keen to transition into a defendant practice.
* A genuine interest in contributing to the growth and success of our insurance practice in Darwin is required.
* Clear, concise legal writing skills and strong attention to detail are necessary for this role.
