Purpose
As Hotel Manager, you will oversee and manage all daily operations on property, guaranteeing its seamless and profitable function. This role requires a keen focus on every department, engagement in operations and stakeholder management. Your leadership will shine through your own actions, as you guide, coach, and mentor your team, fostering a culture of unwavering excellence.
Primary Responsibilities
* Manage all facets of the property including revenue management, recruiting & training, customer service and achievement of financial targets
* Lead and develop your team to ensure the hotel's profitability and success
* Drive changes and improvements in performance and implement strategies in line with business objectives
* Create and build strong relationships with key stakeholders, property owners, guests and regional shared services
* Maintain excellent product and service standards whilst maximising revenue and balancing expenses
* Focus on recruiting and developing a team that is engaged in driving a positive customer sentiment
* Act as a liaison within the local community, representing Accor and fostering community engagement
Skills and Experience
* Prior experience as a Department or Operational Manager within an accommodation provider environment
* Strong understanding of Hotel Rooms Division Management
* Confidence in cultivating strong relationships, effectively addressing challenging situations, and implementing solutions that enhance service quality
* Expertise in overseeing workforce management, including staffing optimization and productivity enhancement
* Personal conduct that sets a precedent and thriving in active involvement
* Past experience working with body corporates in an MLR setting is desirable
